A Soothing, Heart-Warming Elixir
Rooibos is made from the leaves and twigs of the Aspalathus linearis plant. It originates from South Africa 🇿🇦, contains healthy substances and is usually prepared as a tea (officially it’s actually not a tea). But it can be used in different kinds of recipes. Hopefully this is an inspiration how you can use different herbs as well.
This healthy recipe is easy to prepare and offers a pretty unique taste.
What Makes This Recipe Special
Rooibos: Also known as "red bush," rooibos comes from the Aspalathus linearis plant native to South Africa's Cederberg region. Unlike true tea, it's naturally caffeine-free and rich in antioxidants like aspalathin and nothofagin, which support calm energy and skin health. Its earthy-sweet flavor pairs beautifully with cacao's depth.
Cardamom: This ancient spice adds warming, aromatic notes and supports digestion. Balancing the richness of the latte while enhancing the overall sensory experience.
