Matagalpa & Cahabón – mijn favoriete cacaomomentje

Ik had al best wat soorten cacao geprobeerd, maar sinds ik Matagalpa en Cahabón van Pure Kakaw gebruik, wil ik eigenlijk niks anders meer. Deze twee zijn zó puur en zacht, dat ik er echt naar uitkijk om mijn kopje cacao te maken.

Matagalpa is mijn favoriet voor de rustige momenten. Aards, zacht en rond van smaak – echt grounding. Perfect na een workout of als ik wat meer wil landen in m’n lijf.

Cahabón is wat lichter en frisser, met iets fruitigs. Die pak ik juist als ik wat meer helderheid wil, bijvoorbeeld voor of na het schrijven, plannen of gewoon als ik mentaal weer even scherp wil zijn.

Wat ik zo fijn vind aan deze cacao’s, is dat ze zich zo mooi laten combineren met mijn favoriete ingrediënten: amandelmelk, een snuf kaneel en kardemom, en een klein beetje honing. Het resultaat is verwarmend, zacht en precies wat ik nodig heb om even te vertragen en op te laden.

Kortom: Matagalpa en Cahabón zijn inmiddels vaste prik geworden in mijn dag. Geen hype, maar gewoon écht fijne, eerlijke cacao.

I never made a drink with this one because it tastes amazing and it's shaped into coins. Of course we know how nourishing it but also: I snack this usually with a banana, so portable and easy <3
I would definitely buy it again.
