The cacao tree’s Latin name is ‘Theobroma Cacao’, which translates to ‘Food of the Gods’. Cacao has been a sacred drink in ancient times, and for good reason. High in nutritious value, and with an effect that’s often called heart-opening, this energizing drink adds a loving layer to many people’s lives.
We talk about the history of cacao, the process from cacao tree to cacao drink and you get a tasting experience of 3 different cacao origins: Nicaragua, Guatemala and Peru.
